The amount of trophies won or lost is based on the difference between you and your enemy's trophies. Generally, if you win against a player who has more trophies than you, you will be rewarded with more trophies. On the contrary, losing against an enemy with fewer trophies makes you lose more.
HOW TO PERFORM TROPHIES GAIN/LOSS CALCULATION
It all depends on the amount of trophies you have compared to your opponent. if you have the same amount of trophies it will be 30 trophies that you will gain or lose depending on win or loss. So.. if you have more trophies than your opponent you will gain less trophies on a win but also lose more trophies on a loss.
30 will always be the base amount for the amount of trophies gain/lost. however the difference in trophies will change this number by 1 per approximately 10 trophies.
Example: if you have 2000 trophies and your opponent has 2050 you will gain 35 trophies but lose 25 trophies. Min/Max won/lost is defined by CAP:
CAP (without progress bonus)
The maximum number of trophies you can lose/gain: 40
The minimum number of trophies you can lose/gain: 20
To that you also add a bonus dependent on the number of trophies you currently hold:
1200 or more +2 bonus
800 or more +3 bonus
500 or more +6 bonus
150 or more +8 bonus
All of that is additionally supplemented by a club bonus up to +5 trophies.
